Regular Season Round 13: Toulouse - Loon-Plage 70-72

The most exciting game of round 13 in the NM1 took place in Toulouse. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd placed Toulouse (8-5) to second ranked Loon-Plage (10-3) 72-70 on Friday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Tony Housieaux (199-1989) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Christopher Dauby (193-1999) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Loon-Plage's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Cedric Andre (202-1993) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and naturalized Ivorian point guard Maxence Dadiet (192-1999) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Toulouse. Loon-Plage have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Newly promoted Loon-Plage maintains second place with 10-3 record behind leader Rouen, which they share with Mulhouse. Toulouse lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Andrezieux and Chartres. Loon-Plage is looking forward to face Tours (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Toulouse will play against Vitre (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
