The game between Top Four teams took place in Holon. 4th ranked host Hapoel Holon (4-3) lost to second ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (6-1) 79-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hapoel Holon. Hapoel Tel-Aviv looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Jordan McRae (197-1991, college: Tennessee) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Xavier Munford (193-1992, college: URI) who added 20 points during the contest. American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-1989, college: Wichita St.) responded with 17 points and 7 assists and American center Marvin Jones (213-1993, college: Texas Southern) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Tel-Aviv keeps a position of league leader, which they share with M.Tel-Aviv. Defending champion Hapoel Holon dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Hapoel Tel-Aviv is looking forward to face Hapoel Beer Sheva (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Hapoel Holon will play against Hapoel Eilat and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
