Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Alcobendas (8-0) defeated at home 4th ranked Fuenlabrada 2 (5-3) 92-74 on Saturday. Alcobendas shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Forward Alberto de la Torre (201-1994) notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Jorge Tejera (200-1992) supported him with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 16 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals by point guard Luis Melian (177-2000, college: Labette CC) did not help to save the game for Fuenlabrada 2. Slovenian swingman Matija Samar (194-2004) added 22 points for lost side. Four Fuenlabrada 2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alcobendas have an impressive eight-game winning streak.
