Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Obradoiro S. (6-4) won against on the road 8th ranked Gijon Basket (5-4) 72-62 on Saturday. Swingman Miguel Paz (192-2000) notched 15 points to lead the effort and center Carlos Taboada (215-2003) supported him with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 10 points and 9 rebounds by center Sergio Martinez (208-1992) did not help to save the game for Gijon Basket. Guard Jose Antonio Lopez (190-1996) added 11 points for lost side.
