There was no surprise when 12th ranked Monopoli AN (3-7) was edged on the road by third ranked Caserta BLE (8-2) 90-88 on Saturday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Caserta BLE made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Point guard Diego Lucas (178-1996, college: St.Mary's, KS) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Mathias Drigo (203-1989, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest.
