There was an upset when higher ranked Pozuelo (6-3) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Tobarra (4-4) 83-77 on Saturday. Tobarra made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. Canadian-Jamaican guard Kedar N'Kosi Salam (191-1994, college: Simon Fraser, agency: Helping Ballers) notched 27 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and Senegalese center Daouda N'Diaye (213-1996, college: SUU, agency: Helping Ballers) supported him with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Even 20 points and 6 rebounds by center Alejandro Cue (201-1992) did not help to save the game for Pozuelo. Center Marcos Estebanez (200-1992) added 18 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tobarra moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Pozuelo dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Tobarra will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
