Regular Season Round 10: Zirve - Sabah 88-97

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Baku: Sabah (#2) and Zirve (#8). Zirve was defeated at home 88-97 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Sabah dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Zirve's 42. Sabah had a 40-28 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward AJ Patty (204-1995, college: MSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds. Canadian center Christian Rohlehr (210-1997, college: SFC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jarrett Henderson (198-1996, college: UWF) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Zo Tyson (206-1995, college: IUPUI) added 12 points and 18 rebounds in the effort for Zirve. Five Sabah and four Zirve players scored in double figures. Sabah maintains second position with 6-2 record behind leader Gence. Zirve at the other side stay at the bottom place with seven games lost.
