Everything went according to plan in Castellon where third ranked Castello (9-1) outscored 13th ranked El Olivar (2-8) 67-40 on Saturday. Castello dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to El Olivar's 20. Castello forced 32 El Olivar turnovers. Sabina Carli (-1996) fired 13 points and 5 steals for the winners. Laura Campos (-2001) chipped in 9 points and 5 rebounds. Davinia Angel (-2004) produced 13 points and 5 rebounds and Leire Martinez (-2002) added 10 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Castello have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted El Olivar dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. They share it with Sant Adria and Aranguren.
