Regular Season Round 12: Zgierz - LKS Lodz 66-105

No shocking result in a game when second ranked LKS Lodz (11-1) smashed on the road 9th ranked Zgierz (5-6) 105-66 on Saturday. LKS Lodz forced 24 Zgierz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Norbert Kulon (187-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 19 assists and 5 steals and Bartosz Wrobel (190-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 21 points during the contest. Five LKS Lodz players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized British forward Sebastian Ferenc (206-1995, college: Missouri S&T) with 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Michal Mycko (200-2001) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LKS Lodz keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Tarnovia and Katowice KS 27. Newly promoted Zgierz dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. LKS Lodz will meet at home Notec Inowr. (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zgierz will play against Pabianice and hope to secure a win.
