Regular Season Round 10: GTK - Slask 71-91

Undefeated leader WKS Slask delivered the tenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 12th ranked GTK (3-6) 91-71 in Gliwice. Worth to mention a great performance of Irish-Canadian Conor Morgan (206-1994, college: UBC, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189-1996, college: Memphis) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four WKS Slask players scored in double figures. WKS Slask's coach Andrej Urlep allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bulgarian-American point guard Earl Rowland (189-1983, college: St.Mary's, CA) replied with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Filip Put (201-1993) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for GTK. WKS Slask (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. GTK at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. They share the position with MKS DG. WKS Slask will play against league's second-placed Trefl in Sopot in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. GTK will play on the road against Enea Astoria (#15) in Bydgoszcz and hopes to get back on the winning track.
