Not a big story in a game in Czestochowa where 14th ranked AZS PC (2-10) was defeated by twelfth ranked Korona (5-7) 100-87 on Sunday. Korona made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 AZS PC turnovers. Strangely AZS PC outrebounded Korona 52-39 including 20 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Bartosz Lesniak (176-2006) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and guard Mateusz Orlowski (187-2006) who added 29 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Kamil Nawrot (198-2002) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 21 rebounds and 6 assists and Dawid Jozefowski (184-1996) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AZS PC's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Korona moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser AZS PC keeps the fourteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Korona will meet at home higher ranked Resovia (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. AZS PC will play against Tarn.Gory (#12) in Tarnowskie Gory and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
