Regular Season Round 10: Trefl - Sokol 83-68

There was no surprise in Sopot where 14th ranked Sokol (2-8) was defeated by second ranked Trefl (9-1) 83-68 on Sunday. Croatian power forward Ivica Radic (208-1990) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Garrett Nevels (188-1992, college: Hawaii, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Corey Sanders (188-1997, college: Rutgers) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Delano Spencer (193-1994, college: Tennessee St.) scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Trefl have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-1 record behind leader Slask. Newly promoted Sokol keeps the fourteenth place with eight games lost. Trefl will meet at home league's leader WKS Slask in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sokol will play against Asseco Arka (#9) and hope to secure a win.
