Regular Season Round 7: Zeta - Montenegro 59-70

Very predictable result when third ranked Montenegro (6-1) won against 9th ranked Zeta (2-4) in Golubovci 70-59 on Sunday. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Zeta's 30. It was an exceptional evening for center Nikola Bojicic (198-2001) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Sava Milatovic (-2002) accounted for 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Power forward Dejan Posuka (197-1997) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and Predrag Lazarevic (-1981) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Zeta in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Montenegro. They moved-up to second place. Loser Zeta dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Montenegro will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Zeta will play against the league's leader Pljevlja (#1) and hope to secure a win.
