Regular Season Round 12: Przemysl - Gliwice 2 97-69

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Gliwice 2 (4-7) was crushed on the road by third ranked Przemysl (10-2) 97-69 on Sunday. Przemysl forced 24 Gliwice 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Gliwice 2's players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Bartosz Bal (190-1989) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Maciej Puchalski (203-2004) who added 20 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Filip Maciejewski (192-2005) with 16 points and 4 assists and guard Igor Krzych (182-2003) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Przemysl moved-up to second place, which they share with Prudnik and UR Krakow. Loser Gliwice 2 dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Tarn.Gory. Przemysl will meet Cracovia (#5) in the next round. Gliwice 2 will play against Bielsko-Biala (#6) and hope to secure a win.
