Date: December 4, 2022
The game in Poznan supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Polkowice (6-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Poznan (3-5). Polkowice smashed Poznan 89-55 on Sunday. Polkowice forced 20 Poznan turnovers and outrebounded them 39-23 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Poznan's players. The best player for the winners was American point guard Erica Wheeler (170-1991, college: Rutgers) who scored 8 points and 11 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Polkowice. Defending champion maintains third place with 6-2 record having just two points less than leader Gorzow Wlkp., which they share with Sosnowiec. Loser Poznan dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
