Regular Season Round 9: Ensino - Leganes 85-60

Everything could happen in Lugo at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Ensino and 10th ranked Leganes had identical 4-5 record. This time Ensino used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Leganes 85-60 on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was guard Blanca Millan (185-1998, college: Maine) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Ane Olaeta (163, college: CBU) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Ensino players scored in double figures. Ensino's coach Antonio Pernas felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Vionise Pierre-Louis (193-1995, college: Oklahoma) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Khayla Pointer (170-1998, college: LSU) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
