Very expected game in Taby where 13th ranked Huddinge (2-10) was defeated by sixth ranked Norrort (7-3) 88-80 on Tuesday. Norrort dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Huddinge's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Guard David Niklasson (193-1995, college: N.Platte CC) stepped up and scored 29 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners and guard Mattias Herlitz (190-1994) chipped in 19 points and 7 assists. At the losing side Samoro Unger responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Jamaal Sakariya (-1993) scored 21 points (made all of his seven free throws). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Huddinge's coach Ioannis Chatziathanasiou tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Norrort moved-up to fifth place. Huddinge lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Norrort will meet IK Eos (#7) in the next round. Huddinge will play against Sloga Uppsala (#10) and hope to secure a win.
