An interesting game where Prievidza (#8) won against host Iskra Svit (#4) with 16-point difference 91-75 on Tuesday evening. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Kevin Anderson (196-1998, college: Delaware) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 rebounds and forward Kellon Taylor (198-1998, college: McNeese St., agency: Players Group) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Hayden Koval (216-1997, college: Cincinnati) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and swingman TJ Atwood (198-1997, college: Lamar) scored 16 points. Four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prievidza (4-8) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Handlova. Loser Iskra Svit dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Prievidza will meet at home league's second-placed Spisski Rytieri in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Iskra Svit will play against Lucenec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
