Regular Season Round 7: Milenijum - Sutjeska 89-81

The most surprising game was the first loss of Sutjeska (4-1) in Podgorica on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Milenijum (3-3) 89-81. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sutjeska. Milenijum looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Sutjeska helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Luka Zugic (196-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Aleksandar Bogojevic (189-1986) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side Serbian center Milos Koprivica (208-1995, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Vladimir Tomasevic (201-1992) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sutjeska's coach Darko Vujacic rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Milenijum moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Teodo and Decic. Sutjeska at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost. Milenijum's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Podgorica to the arena Podgorica.
