Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Crema (5-6) edged at home 12th ranked Cd'Orlando (3-7) 95-93 on Wednesday. Strangely Cd'Orlando outrebounded Crema 39-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Crema looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Crema made 8 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Filippo Fazioli (192-1998, agency: SLN) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 assists. Naturalized Serbian power forward Arsenije Stepanovic (206-2000) accounted for 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Swingman Simone Vecerina (196-1999) came up with 22 points and 5 assists and the former international swingman Daniele Sandri (197-1990) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Cd'Orlando in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Crema moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser Cd'Orlando dropped to the thirteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Ragusa and Corato Adr.. Crema will meet at home higher ranked Lumezzane V.
