2Liga top team - Mickiewicz (13-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Tychy 2 (3-10) 105-63. Mickiewicz made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game, while Tychy 2 only scored five points from the stripe. Mickiewicz forced 26 Tychy 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Tychy 2's players. Guard Jakub Strozczyk (196-1999) nailed 22 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Lukasz Lewinski (186-1999) accounted for 24 points and 4 steals. Swingman Kacper Szczepanek (187-2004) came up with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and center Bartosz Chodukiewicz (212-2002, agency: Octagon Europe) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Tychy 2 in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mickiewicz have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-0 record, which they share with Miedzychod. Tychy 2 lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the thirteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Sudety and Czeladz. Mickiewicz will meet at home Rybnik (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tychy 2 will play against Cracovia (#5) in Krakow and hope to secure a win.
