Regular Season Round 11: Sabah - Xirdalan 82-84

The most exciting game of round 11 in the ABL took place in Baku. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-ranked Sabah (6-3) to fourth ranked Xirdalan (6-3) 84-82 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sabah. They outrebounded Sabah 44-32 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American power forward Andrew Corum (201-1996, college: Virginia St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Devin Pullum (188, college: Rogers St.) helped adding 21 points and 7 assists. American forward AJ Patty (204-1995, college: MSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian center Christian Rohlehr (210-1997, college: SFC) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Sabah players scored in double figures. Xirdalan have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with NTD and Sabah.
