ProB top team - Olympique Antibes (7-2) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Aix-Maurienne (3-6) in Aix-les-Bains 88-69. Olympique Antibes made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Olympique Antibes outrebounded Aix-Maurienne 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for American-Italian swingman Timothy Derksen (192-1993, college: USF) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Nobel Boungou-Colo (202-1988) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Puerto Rican Alexander Abreu (179-1991, college: UWG) answered with 15 points and 8 assists and swingman Lucas Hergott (200-1997) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Aix-Maurienne. Four Aix-Maurienne players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
