There was no surprise in Paris where 13th ranked CFBB (3-13) was crushed by ninth ranked Rueil (8-7) 74-51 on Friday. Rueil forced 19 CFBB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by CFBB's players. It was a great evening for swingman Steven Ricard (200-1990) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. The former international forward Jean-Frederic Morency (200-1989) helped adding 13 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Talis Soulhac (186-2006) with 14 points and 4 assists and forward Theo Pichard (197-2005) scored 8 points and 4 assists. CFBB's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Rueil have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Lorient. CFBB lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Rueil will meet at home Poitiers (#9) in the next round. CFBB will have a break next round.
