Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Miedzychod (14-0) beat at home 14th ranked Sudety (3-11) 90-75 on Saturday. Miedzychod looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Marcin Wrobel (200-1987) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Mikolaj Smarzy (199-1999) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. Four Miedzychod players scored in double figures. Power forward Pawel Minciel (203-1988) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds and forward Michal Wasilewski (191-1994) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Miedzychod have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-0 record, which they share with AZS AWF Mick. Sudety lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Tychy 2. Miedzychod will meet Klodzko (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sudety will play against Gimbasket (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
