A1 top team - Olympiacos (10-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Giannena (2-8) 95-64. Olympiacos forced 21 Giannena turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Giannena's players. American forward Megan Gustafson (190-1996, college: Iowa) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Kylee Shook (193-1998, college: Louisville) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. Olympiacos' coach Martins Zibarts felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olympiacos will play against Dafni Agioy (#11) in Athens in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Giannena will play on the road against Chania and hopes to get back on the winning track.
