Very expected game when 13th ranked Berck (3-12) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Toulouse (9-6) 67-57 on Saturday. Toulouse dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Berck's 24. Toulouse forced 24 Berck turnovers. It was a great evening for naturalized Ivorian point guard Maxence Dadiet (192-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points. Point guard Victor Mopsus (179-1999) helped adding 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Toulouse players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Thomas Tshikaya (201-1992, college: Angelo St.) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Alexandre Mendy (189-1990) scored 15 points. Toulouse moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Berck lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Kaysersberg. Toulouse will meet at home higher ranked C'Chartres (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Berck will play against Tours (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
