There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Pinto Basket (3-6) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Guimar (3-6) 77-62 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was power forward Jorge Parrondo (194-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Uruguayan Mauro Miranda (-1997) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Guimar players scored in double figures. Jaime Blazquez (200-1991) produced 13 points and 7 rebounds and Angel Olmedo (181-1999) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests.
