Regular Season Round 11: Getxo - Tabirako 114-75

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Getxo (6-4) outleveled at home 12th ranked Tabirako (3-7) 114-75 on Saturday. Getxo forced 21 Tabirako turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. Getxo looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Tabirako's players. The best player for the winners was Nahuel Del Val (187-2001) who scored 39 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Jon Diez (198-1998) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Getxo players scored in double figures. Guard Jon Aldecoa-Otalora (184-2000) produced 17 points and Enaitz Errasti (188-2002) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Getxo moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 8 other teams. Tabirako lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Getxo will meet Filipenses (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tabirako will play against Mondragon and hope to secure a win.
