The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked Lithuanian Siauliai's (4-6) home victory over 10th ranked Latvian Daugavpils Universitate (1-8) 72-56 on Saturday. Latvian forward Ruta Stipra (188-1994) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Morgan Lenahan (180-1997, college: Midwestern St.) supported her with 15 points and 5 assists. Four Siauliai players scored in double figures. Even 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks by Latvian forward Lauma Poikane (178-2003) did not help to save the game for Daugavpils Universitate.
