Regular Season Round 8: Chartres - CFBB 73-44

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Chartres (5-3) crushed at home bottom-ranked CFBB (0-8) 73-44 on Saturday. Chartres looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American-Nigerian forward Nicole Enabosi (183-1997, college: Delaware) who scored that evening 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Margot Bienvenu (183-1997) supported her with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Even 3 points and 10 rebounds by forward Saulnier Ysaline (180-2005) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Forward Nell Angloma (181-2006) added 8 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chartres moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Monaco. CFBB at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Chartres will meet Aulnoye (#10) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. CFBB will play against La Tronche and hopes to get finally their first victory.
