Rather expected game when 11th ranked Chiusi (4-8) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Ferrara (6-6) 75-69 on Sunday. Ferrara outrebounded Chiusi 36-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Luca Campani (208-1990) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Andy Cleaves II (188-1996, college: CS Stanislaus, agency: Players Group) who added 23 points and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Riccardo Bolpin (197-1997) with 17 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Matteo Martini (195-1992, agency: Players Group) scored 18 points. Chiusi's coach Giovanni Bassi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ferrara moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Nardo. Loser Chiusi dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. Ferrara will meet at home Mantova (#11) in the next round. Chiusi will play against Cividale and hope to secure a win.
