Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Ponferrada (6-4) lost to third ranked Clavijo (8-2) in Logrono 71-83 on Sunday. Clavijo dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ponferrada's 32. They outrebounded Ponferrada 35-21 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Javier Nicolau (208-1997, college: UMC) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and American swingman Andre Norris (203-1994, college: Dubuque) supported him with 16 points.
