Very important is a home loss of second ranked Hogsbo 2 (6-3) against seventh ranked Hammarby (4-4) on Sunday night. Host Hogsbo 2 was defeated by Hammarby in a tough game in Goteborg 66-75. Hammarby looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Hammarby made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for Emil Rudman (-2003) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Adam Winther (-2003) helped adding 11 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Forward Jesper Hallberg (201-1995) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and Alem Hamza scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Hogsbo 2's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hammarby moved-up to sixth place. Loser Hogsbo 2 keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with KFUM Lidingo. Hammarby will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hogsbo 2 will play against KFUM Fry. 2 in Stockholm and hope to secure a win.
