Regular Season Round 8: Balkanski Ris - Vukovi Zeta 73-59

The most shocking disappointment of round 8 in the Prva B was a road defeat of 4th ranked Vukovi Zeta (5-3) to seventh ranked Balkanski Ris (4-3) 73-59. It ended the two-game winning streak of Vukovi Zeta. Worth to mention a great performance of Holden Redpardh who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Sinisa Boskovic (-2003) who added 26 points during the contest. Zeljko Matanovic (-2001) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Dusan Markovic scored 14 points. Vukovi Zeta's coach rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Balkanski Ris moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Podgorica 2 and SC Derby 2. Vukovi Zeta at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Balkanski Ris is looking forward to face Rudar (#12) in Pljevlja in the next round where they are favorite. Vukovi Zeta will play against the league's second-placed Lim (#2) and is hoping to win this game.
