Regular Season Round 11: Osijek - Kvarner 2010 77-68

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Kvarner 2010 (6-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked Osijek (8-3) 77-68 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American guard Christian Bradford (185-1995, college: Radford) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 assists. Forward Veljko Budimir (198-1985) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. Bradford is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Osijek players scored in double figures. Osijek's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Luka Vucic (197-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds and the former international guard Sinisa Stemberger (196-1979) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Osijek moved-up to second place, which they share with Zagreb. Kvarner 2010 lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Jazine. Osijek will meet H.Analitica (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kvarner 2010 will play against Samobor and hope to secure a win.
