Regular Season Round 7: E.Holon - Ramat Hasharon 71-84

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Ramat Hasharon and 9th ranked E.Holon had identical 2-4 record. But E.Holon was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Ramat Hasharon 84-71. It was a great evening for American forward Alisia Jenkins (186-1994, college: S.Florida) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. Her fellow American import swingman Jazmine Jones (183-1996, college: Louisville) helped adding 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-Bosnian forward Courtney Hurt (185-1990, college: VCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) and American swingman Alex Harden (180-1993, college: Wichita St.) scored 21 points and 4 assists. Ramat Hasharon maintains fifth place with 3-4 record, which they share with Hertzliya and H.Rishon LZ. E.Holon lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with H.Petah Tikva. Ramat Hasharon will play against league's leader M.Ashdod in Ashdod in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. E.Holon will play on the road against M.Ramat Gan (#3) in Ramat Hen and hopes to get back on the winning track.
