Everything could happen in Poznan at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Miast Szkla and 12th ranked Enea Basket had identical 6-8 record. But Enea Basket was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Krosno 68-62 on Wednesday night. Miast Szkla outrebounded Enea Basket 41-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Michal Jankowski (191-1987, agency: Interperformances) who scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Latvian center Klavs Dubults (203-1996) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Marcin Dymala (187-1990) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-1995) added 11 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Miast Szkla (7-8) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Opole and Slask 2. Enea Basket lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. They share it with WKK Wroclaw. Miast Szkla will meet at home WKK (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Enea Basket will play against Slask in Wroclaw and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
