Regular Season Round 12: Andorra - Valladolid 94-70

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Valladolid (8-4) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Andorra (11-1) 94-70 on Saturday. Andorra shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Johnny Dee (183-1992, college: San Diego) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and Swedish-American swingman Chris Czerapowicz (201-1991, college: Davidson, agency: BIG) who added 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Andorra players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Swedish point guard Melwin Pantzar (190-2000) with 12 points and 6 assists and DR Congolese center Herve Kabasele (208-1996) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Andorra have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Palencia. Loser Valladolid keeps the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Burgos. Andorra will meet Almansa (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Valladolid will play against Gipuzkoa (#8) and hope to secure a win.
