Rather expected game in Lund where 10th ranked Wetterbygden (4-9) was defeated by eighth ranked IK Eos (7-7) 105-88 on Saturday. IK Eos made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Wetterbygden turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-1996) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Olle Karlsson (193-1996) chipped in 19 points. Five IK Eos players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Albin Eriksson (189-1996) who recorded 44 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and Cape Verdean swingman Flavio Gomes (194-1988) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Wetterbygden's coach tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. IK Eos maintains eighth place with 7-7 record. Wetterbygden at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Sloga Uppsala. IK Eos will meet at home bottom-ranked Team4Q (#14) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Wetterbygden will play against the league's second-placed Helsingborg where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
