There was no surprise when 16th ranked Cordoba (2-13) was outleveled by third ranked Celta Zorka (11-3) in Vigo 69-44. Celta Zorka held Cordoba to an opponent 21.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Cordoba 45-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Latvian Luize Sila (188-2004) who led her team to a victory scoring 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Marina Gea (172-2001) helped adding 10 points and 4 steals.
