Regular Season Round 6: RSU - Frankivsk 62-68

Ukrainian Frankivsk has finally registered their first victory this season after one consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Riga, where they defeated Latvian RSU (1-4) 68-62. Polish-Ukrainian forward Oksana Mollova (188-1988, agency: BIG) notched 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and center Taisia Udodenko (190-1989) supported her with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Frankivsk's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Luize Septe (180-1999, college: S.Florida) did not help to save the game for RSU. Guard Enija Viksne (178-2004) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Frankivsk maintains third position with 1-1 record behind leader Polonia W-wa. RSU lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with four games lost. Frankivsk will play against league's second-placed TTT Riga at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. RSU will have a break next round.
