Regular Season Round 11: Chania - Giannena 55-86

9th ranked Chania (4-7) was outscored at home by eleventh ranked Giannena (3-8) with the biggest margin this round 86-55 on Sunday night. Giannena dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Chania's 34. They outrebounded Chania 37-24 including a 32-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Giannena looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Chania's players. Giannena will meet league's second-placed Panathinaikos in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Chania will play against Dafni Agioy (#12) and hope to secure a win.
