Regular Season Round 11: Bisons - Huima 84-76

An interesting game for Bisons (10-1) which hosted in Loimaa 4th placed Huima (6-4). First ranked Bisons managed to get a 8-point victory 84-76. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Huima. The hosts were already 13 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 24-19 Huima's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 84-76 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for guard Santeri Makkonen (195-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 assists. Ukrainian swingman Kyrylo Marchenko (196-1997) helped adding 17 points. American guard Zach Naylor (203, college: Tarleton St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Deontaye Buskey (185, college: Charleston So.) scored 25 points and 6 assists. Bisons have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. Huima at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Bisons will play against bottom-ranked Raiders Basket (#12) in Jarvenpaa in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Huima will play on the road against the league's second-placed Jyvaskyla BA (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
