Regular Season Round 15: SKM ZG - Slask 3 69-76

There was a minor upset in Nowa Sol where 7th ranked SKM ZG (7-8) was defeated by ninth ranked Slask 3 (7-8) 76-69 on Sunday. Slask 3 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Karol Krysiewicz (184-2005) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 assists. Center Karol Kankowski (202-2005) helped adding 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Slask 3 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Tobiasz Dydak (210-2004) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and point guard Ilian Wegrowski (182-2004) scored 21 points and 8 assists. SKM ZG's coach Dawid Mazur tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Slask 3 moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated SKM ZG. SKM ZG lost their fourth game in a row. Slask 3 will meet at home league's second-placed Katowice KS 27 in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. SKM ZG will play against Koscian (#4) and hope to secure a win.
