Regular Season Round 11: MuKi - Raholan P. 85-88

No shocking result in a game in Helsinki where eleventh ranked Raholan P. (5-5) edged 15th ranked MuKi (2-9) 88-85 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 50-41 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Raholan P. forced 19 MuKi turnovers and had a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for forward Olli Kanerva (198-1996) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Forward Tuomo Aalto (190) helped adding 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Robin Avist (191-2000) responded with 25 points and 6 assists and guard Nikolas Kataja (194-2002) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Four MuKi players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Raholan P.. They moved-up to eighth place. MuKi lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Raholan P. will meet at home higher ranked PuHu Juniorit (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MuKi will play against Karkkila (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
