Regular Season Round 9: Sjuharads - Visby 93-43

Bottom-ranked Visby is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to tenth ranked Sjuharads (2-7) 93-43 on Sunday evening. Sjuharads held Visby to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 48.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Sjuharads forced 22 Visby turnovers and outrebounded them 46-28 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Visby's players. Guard Moa Erlandsson (167-2001) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Elin Ljunggren (185-1996) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Sjuharads players scored in double figures. Sjuharads' coach Karin Key felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard NDea Flye (173-1998, college: Rocky Mountain) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Helin Agnig (158-2002) added 11 points respectively for Visby in the defeat. Sjuharads maintains tenth place with 2-7 record. Visby lost their tenth game in a row. They still close the standings with ten games lost. Sjuharads will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Visby will play against IK Eos (#7) in Lund and hopes to get finally their first victory.
