The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Bydgoszcz's (1-9) road loss to ninth ranked Wroclaw (4-6) 44-97 on Sunday. Wroclaw held Bydgoszcz to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Wroclaw forced 19 Bydgoszcz turnovers and outrebounded them 50-22 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Four Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Wroclaw's coach Arkadiusz Rusin felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Wiktoria Sobiech (172-2002) came up with 17 points and power forward Zuzanna Krupa (187-2001) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Bydgoszcz in the defeat. Wroclaw moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Poznan. Bydgoszcz lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost. Wroclaw will meet at home league's leader Gorzow Wlkp. in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bydgoszcz will play against Lublin (#3) and hope to win that game.
