No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Boulazac Basket (8-3) defeated at home 7th ranked Chalons-Reims (6-5) 91-87 on Tuesday. Boulazac Basket made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Boulazac Basket outrebounded Chalons-Reims 38-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American point guard Nicolas Moore (175-1992, college: SMU) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 assists. Dutch center Nicolas de Jong (210-1988) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. Boulazac Basket's coach Alexandre Menard used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Serbian Djordje Milosevic (199-1993, agency: PEPI SPORT) responded with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Croatian forward David Skara (203-1995, college: Clemson) scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boulazac Basket have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Chalon/Saone and Vichy Clermont. Loser Chalons-Reims dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Boulazac Basket will meet Denain Voltaire (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
