Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Matelica (8-4) outscored on the road 8th ranked Umbertide (6-6) 74-49 on Wednesday. Matelica dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Umbertide's 22. Matelica forced 20 Umbertide turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Benedetta Gramaccioni (174-1998) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 4 steals and forward Gloria Offor (175-2005) who added 8 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Croatian Sara Boric (176-2000) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and guard Beatrice Stroscio (174-2001) scored 9 points.
